In preparation for the Clubs AGM in July, the Committee circulated an information pack to the club membership explaining the proposal to increase the membership subscriptions to address the rise in the underlying club costs.
This information was then presented at the AGM to enable a vote by the members present.
The proposal to increase the subscriptions for membership was approved and our plan is to implement this in October.
The new membership subscription costs are summarised in the table below:
We are asking all of the club membership to make the change in their standing orders during September so that this will be implemented in time for the October payments.
There is a significant amount of administration to implement this change in the accounting system. Your help in ensuring that your standing orders are changed before 1 October will greatly reduce the levels of manual interaction and follow up which will be needed for those which are not changed.
Note that all membership categories (except Cox, Coach, Life) have been impacted. We have increased the Land membership (from £12 to £15) and request that those who are “Friends” of Putney Town increase their contribution from £5 to £7 to help with addressing the increased cost pressures.
