Burns Night quiz success!

Last Saturday, following a busy day of racing at Quintin Head, the club filled back up again in the evening for the annual Burns Night quiz. The eight rounds of quiz, including music, video and picture rounds kept the 13 teams busy all night, with the “1922 committee” ending the evening victorious. As PTRC tradition dictates, the quiz was interupted at the half-way mark for a Burns Night supper of Haggis, Neeps and tatties (and roasted veg!). True Scotsman Kevin delivered the “Ode” before the feast began. Following the annoucement of the results the party moved back to the bar for first an M&M challenge and then one (or two, or…) more for the road…

Overall, it was one of the best Burns Nights for a long time, and much credit is owed to the army of volunteers who made the evening so memorable – notably Emma for master-minding the whole evening, Rochelle for once again creating such a magnificant meal and James for preparing and delivering the quiz.

If you missed it, you missed out!
