Here at Putney Town Rowing Club, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming part of the community in Kew and Mortlake. Whilst we are first and foremost a rowing club, we are pleased to welcome you and your guests. The club can be hired for funeral receptions weekdays between 10am and 5pm and evening parties and celebrations on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
We are close to Chiswick Bridge in Mortlake, Richmond-upon-Thames, on the south bank tow-path, with beautiful views over the Thames from both in front of the club and from our balcony. We have a cosy bar and large hall, just a short walk from Mortlake Crematorium and local transport networks. There is also a free car park adjacent to the club.
The bar and hall are separate but with double connecting doors. The bar is licensed and provides a light and comfortable space for up to 30-50 standing or 20 people seated. The hall is 11m v 14m, large enough for 150 people standing and 11o seated.
To discuss your requirements, please contact our events manager, Sue, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 078 79 69 49 67.
Please note, we have a policy of not hiring the venue out for 18th or 21st Birthday parties at the present time.
Putney Town Rowing Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club. All income from events is invested back into the club in order to increase participation in rowing.
