Putney Town Rowing Club is committed to promoting the safety of members when engaged in rowing or training activities, on and off the water, in line with recommendations set out in the British Rowing’s RowSafe. It is a condition of membership that all members comply with the club safety procedures and RowSafe.

To help meet this commitment we endeavour to produce clearly communicated safety advice, an induction programme for new members that incorporates safety, and a Steering Certificate programme (SteerCert) to inform and assess rowing safety competence, river navigation and safety knowledge.
