Emma and Larry returning to dock in Key West

A cause for much celebration and the breaking out of an entirely new category for articles on the PTRC website for weddings and babies!

Most recently Larry and Emma were married in Key West, Florida USA. Full marks go for the Key Lime Pie with PTRC blades atop (see photo below)!

A few months ago Anthony Cake, better known to most as simply “Cakey”, was married to Gillian. The wedding was in St Andrews, Scotland and was another splendid demonstration of Putney Town colours! Cakey writes:-

We were introduced to each other by Marco as Gillian used to work with his partner Paula. So if it wasn’t for PTRC we never would have met. Everybody had a great time and Ben got very drunk and emotional.

Madison

Finally, whilst very much smaller in physical size, of no less important was the birth of Madison Lovejoy to Vanessa and Gary. Being born on the weekend of Met Regatta is surely a positive sign that Madison will be big in rowing, however it did catch Gary’s crew mates by surprise leaving them with no bowman! All agree Madison’s cuteness made up for the sacrifice.
